About Kate

During the past 20 years I have gained considerable experience in eCommerce, digital design, photography, styling & retail marketing. I have also gained business, photography & marketing qualifications which has set me up with the skills, knowledge & drive to succeed in any business.

Previously I owned & operated a 100 bed backpacker accommodation facility including a travel centre, cafe', bar & entertainment venue at Glenelg Beach.I worked closely with the SA Tourism Commission & was awarded five State, a Hall of Fame & two National Tourism Awards which took the backpacker industry to a whole new level nationally.

I have a friendly disposition, good intuition & people skills. I believe in exceeding guests expectations & have a strong ability to communicate with people of all ages & nationalities.

We value you as a client. We want your experience with us to be outstanding in every way. That’s why we appoint a Short Term Property Manager to look after you – to be there for you at all times. Short term rental management requires highly skilled experienced people to give you peace of mind. It's in our best interest to ensure both you & your guests are looked after at all times.

At Unwind Holidays, we offer a complete Management service for your short term holiday rental – and that means your home, your guests, and you! In addition to this, we oversee the housekeeping, maintenance & marketing of your property. The Unwind Facebook page alone has nearly 50k followers which we are able to draw from to further promote your property. We provide an impeccable level of care for your guests & in return we aim to receive positive reviews, repeat stays & new guests.

I predominantly host properties myself in South Australia on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Glenelg Beach, Adelaide Hills & Eastern suburbs. If you own a short term holiday rental outside of these areas or interstate/overseas, we can provide you with another dedicated host to assist you at Unwind Holidays.
